  • Help remembering a cue...

    Hi All,

Who's cue was jointed between the splice fingers, I thought it was Jimmy's but can't find any pictures to confirm?

    Help remembering a cue...

I recall Steve Davis a few years ago playing at an event and the joint was on the ebony splices and you could clearly see the alignment had good by some way.
Don't recall JW using such a cue?

Yes Davis, it was 3/4 jointed by Parris and eventually over twisted, so didn't aligned perfectly. Jimmy mainly used a conventional 3/4 Hunt and O'Byrne.

Steve Davis' old ashe was jointed through the splice fingers around an inch or so from the top of them and the same with the modified Burwat champion O'Sullivan used to use up until 98 or so.
