I would say so yea, a bit strange to lay unopened for 50 years! would be good to know the story behind it

Dunno if i'm buying the "unused" line or not, looking at the pics i think i can see some dinks on the cue, (could possibly be reflections of the flash on the lacquer on the butt which these had for some reason). Seems to have the original tube but id very much doubt its unused.

It was found next to a skeleton. Poor chap died of excitement when the postman delivered it.
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Yes it's a eureka but it's not an early one that fetches more money, it's a late eureka or as some people refer to second edition, opened packaging in auctions shouldn't reflect the price unless unopened. My take is some mug will pay way to much for this because at the end of the day you're buying a late eureka cue and that's it.

Very nice cue for a collector. If somebody has a spare £1k laying around. Well worth adding to your collection. I know a certain collector on here is waiting to pounce! Hope it goes to the right person
                    Always a pleasure

Wow £400-500 for an empty Burroughs & watts dated tube.

I can also see dinks etc in the Cue and personally think this cue has been used! but for some collectors they will love this especially the Postage Tube with B&W on it.

Personally i would say £500-£600 max and thats a good price for that but maybe fetch abit more if some are gullible to think its Brand New Never Used!

                        Gaz.

I know nowt about cues ,so I ask these questions from complete ignorance but on used cues I have seen before at this age the badge is normally a bit worn with being in contact with the floor, and that tip looks old and un chalked ,is it old? And are these easily found and replaced, it looks to me like it's been on there a while.
Small dinks ,if there are any, doesn't mean it's been used, it just could have been thrown around a bit in the tube during the years, maybe.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

If its in a cardboard tube then its not going to get dinked that's the thing even if thrown about. The tube appears to have nothing wrong with it so where do these marks on the cue come from? You can still buy tips like the one on the cue as well.
