  • New mission if you choose to accept it

So mission 1 was the hunt for a maple for a team player and you succeeded by providing a fantastic GBL 3/4 split.

Mission 2 for brother in law
He has a budget of £200 - £250 delivered or collection. Less would be better of course.

    Specs required are 58.5 - 9.75 / 10mm tip - 18 - 19 oz - 3/4 split. Med to stiff shaft. No whips. For snooker only.

Now I was thinking it's his first decent purchase. So here's my thoughts on brands. At that budget probably looking at phoenix, maximus, gbl, craftsman or similar. Any sensible sugestions would be appreciated. No over priced nonsense. I will try my best to advise on price. Keen for a used cue as the price usually reflects. Extensions a bonus of course. He's got a case.

    Thanks for reading

    Michael

There were some nice gbl cues Stu had discounted on Facebook the other day.
Not sure what's still around though

£250 would buy a great TP III cue, or any O'min. Welsh Pool on ebay could sort you out with a stunning O'min for £200, top of the range. O'mins appear to be the best value cues around at the moment.

£209 would also buy you a very nice Cue Craft Monarch. And £250 may even buy you a custom on here from some of the junior cue makers. 58.5" seems quite long, is he 6'6"?

          £250 buys a Master Cue -

SM, post the specs in cues wanted. I'm sure someone on here has a 58.5" cue somewhere and would be happy to sell it.
