      That's what I meant, which is fair enough if that's the extra cost, as per Peradon Newbury at £340. Cutting an LM shouldn't be harder than ash and it's quicker because Peradon say that the stress within the timber had been released by sheeting it. That means that the course Mahler shouldn't have to plane a bit, then leave it for a few months then do a bit more then finish it off a few months later. So the turnaround time should be less. Maybe Richue cam enlighten us on this please?

        of course there is more work,nature takes care of making ash, laminates are made by people.you cut up a board to find which pieces can make a cue pleasing to the eye,are you suggesting to laminate boards then cut them up and throw away those that don't make the grade?this would be fine if it was on an industrial scale but its not
