  • How to clean an Ash cue that is chalk stained, very chalk stained

    Evening,
My cue has turned green, is there a way to get the green out, I have spent hours with a slightly damp cloth then buffing dry but it seems to make little if any difference? Any help greatly appreciated

have you tried a little white spirit?
I say little so not to affect the oil or any grain filler.

magic eraser usually gets rid of most of it, although in my experience a light oiling is required afterwards

Do you use these in the club and in general Deano?

well with a little one running around we have baby wipes and they are superb at cleaning up all matter of marks and stains as well as what they were designed for
we tried the aloe vera ones in the past, good for baby's skin but for other cleaning you start getting foam that takes longer to clear up
on cues they are ok but for really dirty cues the white spirit is a good starting point.
and no, I don't take any wipes down the club with me

I currently have a 5 month old so there is no shortage of wipes in my house!

Another vote for baby wipes. They are magic cleaning materials.

what happens if your cue needs cleaning and errr baby's bottom needs a wipe both at the same time ... how do you prioritise? baby's bottom first and cue second doesn't sound like a good idea ... but equally cue first and baby's bottom second may leave chalk marks over the little darling's behind ... tricky eh? LOL ...

easy, cue first AND only for the wipe; baby can be dunked in the kitchen sink with some baby bath
