May I just elaborate further.....the time that I used to notice the lack of feel was in and around the black and pink spot.....I was forever over screwing/topping which is when u really need to be able to trust the cue/player combination.....I then found myself trying to underplay some shots to compensate for this, which used to make it worse......now don't get me wrong I was never Pro standard but used to hit 60/70 breaks on a very regular basis, so would like to think I had an idea of what I was doing.....May I also add this was over a period of 6mths or so.....I even tried changing from my normal Elk's to Blue Diamond to see if it made any difference, sadly the answer was no......
In conclusion my highest break with the Old Nelson was 103....the highest I managed with the JP was 57......I always found that the one hard (that normally turns a okay break into a one visit frame killer) shot was where I used fail time and time again.....
Thats what I found anyways.......other people may be able to Chop and change their cues, but i'd like to think i'm not alone in that I wasn't one of those players.
