I know this might upset some but I've known some very very good players whome had no interest in trying to make a living from this game, but see many pros who are wasting their time, but are living the dream (sic)

Agreed !!! Unfortunately making money with snooker is not easy!! A few years back I read an article on internet about Golf!! World number 100 in golf had made more than 500,000 ( if i'm not mistaken about the number ), within 1 year time!! Maybe this has to do with sponsorship??
There are many talents and good players in the world who don't get the chance to get pro and make money with snooker!!
of course I'm not talking about sum kind of conspiracy!! is just very difficult to find a sponsor!!
