  • JP Traditional on ebay

just seen this, But It Now nearly double the list price!
he says 6 months waiting time for a trad? I am sure JP would have these ready lined up for final specs as I am sure it is his most popular seller?

As ever, never ever buy a JP cue off ebay, as dodgy as. Either it ain't a player or it ain't a JP or it's just a rip-off. Order from John and wait.........patience is a virtue. Do what 2V is doing, use a Mastercraft until your JP turns up.

          JP Traditional on ebay

I cancelled my traditional after 9-10 months wait. He originally told me 6 months maximum and likely 3-4 so was disappointed

Absolutely, if you want a John Parris, I would recommend you vist his shop. If you don't like what you see you can always place an order. You can specify the type of cue you would like and I'm sure John will try and accommodate. I had to wait for my Traditional for 8mths but boy was it worth the wait! If it wasn't for the badge you'd think it was an ultimate.

Spot on, and that's why you wait. If there's something not right with the cue Uncle J. is there to help you when receive it. If there's something not right with your cue from ebay, there's no comeback, because the eBay guarantee DOES NOT include playability of cues! There is a strong likelyhood that the cue won't be pukka, kosha or maybe not even genuine. JP cues can be sold quickly in clubs without the hassle of eBay fees, Paypal fees and the Post Office. So why do folk sell JP on eBay? Sometimes for genuine reasons such as short of cash, change of circumstances, etc. But a lot of cues on there are suspect, I'd say over half.

People rarely sell a great JP, and hardly ever the 'one'. If you buy a dud, you will regret it, and then sell it. Which is why the same cues keep popping up on eBay. And you'll still have to wait longer for a proper JP. Some cue sellers are good but there are a lot of charlatans on there ready to fleece you.

Get in line and save cash.

Does sound like a daft statement that. There are many genuine JP cues sold on ebay for genuine reasons

Master blaster I don't see why every post you post you do it for the sole purpose of getting a reaction, why do it?

A member was nearly fleeced by buying a fake JP this week. DOES that compute?! JP cues on eBay are a rip-off. End of. And most are sketchy for one reason or another. I don't care who sells them, only a fool buys them. You go and see JP and put an order in and pay less. How difficult is that? It makes total economic and playing sense.

Or maybe you'd prefer members to buy expensive cues without trying them out and end up with a dud instead?

I bought a JP cue just the other week virtually brand new, saved a wedge of money, not every seller on ebay is dodgy you know !!
Plus people buy from there to save the ridiculous waiting times JP has
