    Advice Needed: Omin Hunter, MW Legend or Maximus Ultimate

    Hello Everyone,

    Well I am back in the market after a long time for a cue and luckily this time I have the funds to get a custom made cue but definitely not enough money or patience for a JP Ultimate. Could you guys please advise what would you recommend from the following:

    1. Omin Hunter
    2. MW Legend
    3. Maximus Legend

    Omint Hunter is roughly 300-400 USD cheaper than MW, is MW worth the price difference? I would appreciate your feedback

    Never seen an Omin in the flesh , but purely on the money difference ......my mate had a Maximus and it was an amazing cue for half the price of some cues .
    Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

      I'd go for the maximus, good quality cue with a very little price tag.

        I can say with total certainty MW makes incredible cues, i have a black shark for english pool and a black legend for snooker and they are both epic cues. I have not tried the other two on your list however.

            Thank you for taking the time to reply gentlemen, I have read good reviews about Maximus Ultimate and MW cues on this site but nothing about O'Min hunter so was wondering if anyone has actually owned/checked one of those?

              I would go for the o'min - yes I have seen one - it was a beautiful cue

                I had a MW made a good 15 yrs ago so not sure how it compares to his current cues.
                Played a Maximus Ultimate recently and while it had a lovely looking shaft, the MW plays better.
                No opinion about Omin sorry.
                But well, can't really compare who makes it unless you try 100s of each, every cue is different, who makes it is less important.
