I have sent Trevor a couple of emails and not received replies, either. I don't want to hassle him because I can imagine how busy he is, but he usually gets back to me within a couple of days or so. Is he still away?

there's no guarantee that a custom cue will suite you at least its still got some value, its the nature of the beast.

Poster says he cannot get on with new big tip. Lordy, it wouldn't take half an hour to get it down to 8.5 from 9.0. Unless the order was another sell at profit quick?

What is the spec?

I've got a brand new trevor maple cue that I had delivered on Wednesday, I had it made with a 9mm tip, usually use 8.5mm but just can't get use to the bigger tip..

Here am i worried my rule of a minimum 3 month trial for a new cue (being used a couple of times per week) was too short!
