No, not who is the best cue maker (that's JP of course) nor which type of cue is the best, e.g. Ultimate, Legend, etc. But which is the best cue ever made in snooker and billiards history. Which one is it?

I don't think there is a clear answer for that. This question is not like what's the fastest car ever made as speed can be measured in numbers where as how would you measure/determine what was the best cue ever made? I think a better question with more realistic answers would be "what's the best cue that you have ever used?"

I'll pick this beautiful cue, used to make my favourite Pro break:

I have never had the privilege to see that beautiful cue in person let alone try it It is in the hands of perhaps the best player ever but that doesn't affirm it's status as the best cue in my eyes. If you talk about sheer cue power then you would have to go with the cue of someone like Robo or JT.
I can only tell you the best cue that I have ever played with, and that was a Master cue from thailand. It is not to say that they are the best cue makers in the world, they are the only ones I was able to afford I cannot say anything about any of the top cue makers as I have not seen or played with their cues however I am hoping to get a MW or TW later this year now that my student days are over lol.

If you mean design then I like the JP Mannock design - or the connoisseur design or a modern take on either like the Parris Sterling design but it would be a modern copy version of each design if I was buying one to use.
The best cues I ever saw design wise was actually an old O'min cue for snooker - it was beautiful and had a mother of pearl dragon inlays. and a immaculate George Balibushka pool cue again a thing of beauty and both where individual works of cue art and I never saw two cues the same. - I do like the marquee cues tooLast edited by Byrom; 23 May 2015, 07:23 AM.

stop fuelling this idiocy and use your time more productively and we might all learn something which after all is what the forum was intended for.No one is listening until you make a mistake!
