After reading the threads about LM shafts, a source called me last night and claimed that a cue company of some repute has penciled in a brand new cue design to be launched around mid-2017. Made from laminate, it will be traditionally made (think planes, resting the shaft a few times, in-house joints etc) and it's code named Super Ultimate. Thoughts?

In response to your question above, no, not really, I have no thoughts on it. Good luck to whoever it is though.
By the way, in your sig at the bottom of your posts, equalled has 2 L's.

Cheers for the reply though.
I imagine a price of something like £1200 for a basic cue and a wait of 3yrs + if this rumour is true.

But John, you need to understand the reduced cueball deflection, increased response, plus, the fact that it sings you a bedtime lullaby each night.
The advantages are there to see. Open your eyes man.

Only because these software comes from US companies and people don't reset the settings to proper English
TSF does not have a spell checker itself but uses the setting in the browser you use.
IE - Tools, Internet Options, Languages button, select the US, Remove. Ensure you have EN already installed and checked to be the default.
Google Chrome - Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu on the browser toolbar, Settings, Show Advanced Settings, Languages Input Settings, I think you cant remove US English, but you can "Add" UK and make this the default for spell checking.
You may wish to also check your Windows' Region & Languages (under Control Panel) settings as well
As Trevor has asked, who is this reputed cuemaker? :biggrin:Last edited by DeanH; 31 May 2015, 12:12 PM.Up the TSF! :snooker:

I didn't ask.
And....frankly, I'd be more interested in who will be washing the kit of Oldham Athletic next season.

JRC:
Because this laminated shaft will be made in-house and will be exclusive to his cues. Revolutionary? People are gonna beg for this cue apperently. 3yrs isn't that long a wait for a great cue, not these days. Know what I mean?Last edited by Master Blaster; 31 May 2015, 01:51 PM.
