As I asked VMax on the LM thread, have you tried one? It's interesting, the Peradon Newbury cue anyways. I prefer it to maple and kiln ash.

I dunno, you give these ordinary people the shizzle, the snooker cue lowdown, and no appreciation! I dunno.............

You will want one when they come though, just like the rest. New tooling, new tech, different cue. It's gonna go boom apparently. You will want one to be sure.

I haven't tried one for the exact reason why I wouldn't wear Dunlop I just don't like them. I can tell straight away that the LM shaft would be a distraction to my game. For me it's a bit of a gimmick a bit like these super duper ferrules etc where a few people might get on the bandwagon for a while and will slowly fade out overtime. Good luck to any cue maker making money from them but not for me.

You haven't really answered the question. How will these cues differ either in playability or manufacturing technique to the product that Dave already makes?

Seems like some cue maker/s have an agenda to push laminated shafts as the norm, especially to new players or those cross over from pool.

              What's next ? Laminated balls ?

Ditto, selling gimmicks to those that cannot cue straight and with inconsistent cue action.

Made from laminate, it will be traditionally made (think planes, resting the shaft a few times, in-house joints etc) and it's code named Super Ultimate. Thoughts?
Stopped reading this crap as soon as i saw this comment and you would just LOVE to have us all to think that JP called you himself to tell you this...... In other words take your hand off it.

We all know you push Parris on this site everywhere like he is almost paying you for the BS comments you pollute this site with so quit the crap.
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

It's new tech and new tooling. For obvious reasons, the cue maker won't release how he's going to make the laminates. Will it be better? It promises to be a cracker. We shall have to wait, test and see!

Leo; go to a Peradon outlet and try one, it's not a gimmick. Your opinion that it is a gimmick hasn't been tested. Go test one. You may be pleasantly surprised.

I have no idea why folk have mentioned John Parris on this thread. I have not spoken to him recently. Please, get a grip, you're obsessed by Parris Cues. Their quality is outstanding and their cues brilliant but you must all try and get over your obsessions with Parris, and may I add, Master Blaster. I can't look after you all, however dire your position is.
