LOL - not only is it not the best cue on ebay; its not even the best Ton Praram cue!
Check out this awesome Beyond I just found...
(Its a fair bit cheaper than the flat cost from their website!)

Lack of sleep; remind me again Dean, is Series 3 the highest or were these series in chrono order?

To be fair that was 5 months including delivery time to UK - and for a Beyond spec. I think it was more like 3 months/12 weeks production (so two months delivery!?!?)

But yeah, I think that lead time is likely to up a LOT when the word spreads to China that Ding is using one!

Appreciate all replies but remember I looking for a 3/4 cue, they are really nice one piece cues but not what I want

It goes Series 1, Series 2, Beyond. (with Series 1 the cheapest, and Beyond most expensive).

You must of course go for whatever you feel happy and comfortable with. But in all honesty the only two reasons for getting a 3/4 cue are:
              1 - you want a heavier cue (19ozs+)
2 - you're really concerned about transporting it easily. (although its really not a major prob with a 1-piece).

Otherwise a 3/4 cue is an inferior compromise in my (and most others!) opinion.

I knew that (duh!). Ah, I can see him having a waiting list of 2yrs soon. Good for him, he's producing crackers reading the reviews.

Robghosty, all I can say is reconsider a 3/4. A 1-piece is the way to go. They're recommended over split cues for increased feel by makers such as MW.

I was quoting from the bay ad
Series 1 is the lowest model, Beyond highest model

note - there is no Series 3, the notation of "Ton Praram III" (or "3" on some sites), is for "Ton Praram the third"

Buy it, it will go up in value. It's an investment. If the specs had been right I would have bought it already.

Limited edition are the top of the range cues. I have one and its as good as ANY Parris cue out there.

I bet Les is right though. I really don't rate JP's measuring of appropriate cue length either. 60" cues for folk who are 6' is crazy.
