I wonder who makes Mike Wooldridge and Greenbaize shafts?????????????? one and the same
Yep, heard a few things like most who have contacts in asia.
Never know whats true and whats not.
Same with Osborne cues, I went to his shop and he point blank refused to make me a cue! His workshop spotless!
"Where should I be looking?"
"Ronnie vs Hendry"
"Where do cues come from?"
threads that never go anywhere... Always pop up every few months.
I agree, but it's also human nature. If we could all agree to disagree no one would be running around the planet killing folks in the name of ideology.

If true, why do they charge so much? Is it fraudulent to claim to be UK made if the shafts are made abroad? I'd be really disappointed if famous UK names ain't what they say they are. Even JP. It would be nice if the makers were upfront about the origins of cue types, the way CJ is.
I think they're careful with their wording. Easier to argue the point if challenged.
Well, in that case, someone should start a thread listing those cue makers who are categorical with their wording and whose word means something and can be trusted, a kind of trust trade list. I see no reason why we should support cue makers who imply one thing and do another, that's deceitful and it's all about profit. For example, the top stuff CJ does is made by himself I believe and the cheaper end has Thai shafts. He's trustable because he's been open about it. Can anyone else name a cue maker who is very open about where the shafts come from?
