Wouldn't say its stupidity, alot of the time the sellers know nothing about cues and they've been left to them by relatives or found in the house when they've moved in, not everyone cares about cues, to those people its just something to get a couple of quid for.

Well virtually everyone has some access to the internet, not hard to find approx value of things
Aye but they don't know cues can be valuable so don't know to look into the potential value
