                Well I'm still lost to know why the Blackplate he's selling is different to any other cue he's making apart from the name badge, oh and please don't tell me it's something to do with the arrows as I'll scream

                            Agreed Bang on the money. I'd still like to know why the BP is any different in terms of quality to his £400 cues he sells.

                              Me too. Didn't one of the old sites say the blackplate cues were used for only 2 % of the shafts or something.

                              I presume these %age of shafts were picked for aesthetic reasons, and also bearing in mind that good aesthetics

                              ( arrows in line and 25.897mm apart, etc ) doesn't mean better feel in the finished cue,

                              then you'd just be paying for the looks only, surely ?

                                Paying for looks only, seems the thing these days to many,you only have to have to see replies to threads on the post cue pictures thread and all you hear is lovely set of arrows, nice looking shaft, great even chevrons, so it seems now more people aren't worried about the different woods and splices there main concern is what does the shaft looks like.
