Aeon extension / mini butt

Hi,

I own this Aeon cue and it has a screw hole at the bottom of the butt. Does anybody know if this can be used to attach an extension or mini butt? And if so what exactly should I be looking for?

Most Aeon ext are " spiroloc " and if this one is it might be difficult to source one , as Aeon as a company no longer exists . I cant tell from the j.peg but if the female socket tapers i.e. it is triangular when you look inside , then its a spiroloc . If its parallel inside then it could have been added later and you might find a thread to match . Tony Glover and Andy Travis have the facilities to fabricate a joint and there are cue makers using spirolocs such as Coutts and Robin. Spirolocs were also used on some generic imported cues such as Waslin and Snooker Craft , but getting a matching joint could be very hit and miss.

just so happens a chap I know who has a Aeon cue set was down the club last night and I asked him what butt joint he has. He has a "spiroloc" joint on his mini and long extensions.

If your female joint is tapered then contact EZ_4_U_OK as he has some nice metal slimline short-tele extensions.

yep that is the type

these slimline short teles fit well in the cues cases unlike the big blue collared ones

cant find EZ's ebay stuff at the mo, maybe he will pop on here himself
hope he still have stock as he had some lovely colours
