  • Jimmy White's cue

Working on a bit of a modern 'replica' project and trying to recreate a nice easy one (I hope!) and copy Jimmy's cue.

I'm sure I've read it was a H&O, but has it been rebadged a Parris after all the alterations he's had?

Counting on the brains trust to let me know...

    Jay.

I met a few people over the years who have handled Jimmy's cue and all said it felt very heavy and forward balanced. I expect that means long spliced and high jointed. I think it was 21oz by the time the work had been done.

His splicing does look very long on his cue.

I think Jim is there or thereabouts with the butt/splice length, but can anyone shed any light on badge /maker?
As I said, I thought it was originally a H&O, but could well be wrong.

Taking it too far Jay, you don't need to look / weigh the same as the teenage / maker, in order to make a replica of the cue. .

                    Doesn't mean it's a Parris, but...

Thanks to ADR for the photos.

Sheds a bit more light on things.

You may not be able to make the badge out, but it is a Parris badge, but is fitted sideways !

Original cue does appear to have been a H&O.
