He also wants 600 for a machine spliced JD 600, one for ever centurry eh?... nuff said.
And yes, a 101 is a very rare cue Leo, you do talk out of your arse sometimes - Andrew's didn't make much because it was a poor example.

You read it back. Or I'll quote it above for you.

Rarity has nothing to do with value - or YOA, Eurekas etc would be worth nothing as tens of these are sold every year. The 101 is a rare cue full stop, there is no argument to be had you're just an argumentative oik.

Instead of getting all beat up and abusive can you explain then why a Joe Davis cue break 96 wouldn't be the same price as a Joe Davis 147 champion cue?

Sorry Leo, could you tell me what information you have , that would lead you to this statement please ?

I assume, as it was a statement made about that particular cue, you'd be able to back it up with hard facts ?

Apologises, I was comparing in the first thread was the 101 rarity against the Joe Davis 96 & 980 which to me the 101 is not "as" rare which I should've quoted but once again what I mean to write sometimes don't come out as intended.

I know the feeling. Without the added benefit of body language, facial expressions, vocal inflection, etc, etc,

the written word can be so easily misinterpreted. It's how we react to these misinterpretations, that counts.

still waiting for the cue collector to reply to my question as to why a Joe Davis 147 cue would fetch far less then a Joe Davis 96 break cue

Artists can color the sky red because they know it's blue. Those of us who aren't artists must color things the way they really are or people might think we're stupid.
