I'm not bothered about the glue or any baring on who made the cue .

I was more interested to know when this cue was made , as i thought the red glue wasn't used when this range came out .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

Photos are proof that range was about when red glue was used. I'm same as you as not bothered about it.

lol......see what you've started.........but come on you can't say your not bothered, everyone's bothered about red glue, there are lot's of theory's, some say it means John made them himself ( as he didn't like anyone else in the workshop using his red glue ) or it means its very old ( over 20 years ) or it has mystical powers that make's the cue pot balls better and cue's are worthless without it, other's say it was to be known as the traffic light range but amber or green couldn't be done so " it stopped on red "

Please feel free to add to the list the craziest i've heard is that he just changed the red glue he was using for cosmetic reasons about 7 years ago

there's one born every minute and this red glue nonsense proves it.if people think that the cues made by jp himself are superior to the cues turned(sic) out now then they are mistaken

The 'red glue' was actually plum sauce off the hands of the Chinese cue makers mixed in with the epoxy, after they'd all had lunch....
