  • Help finding a cue similar to Joe Davis 147

    Hi All,

New to the forum and have been reading around a bit.
TO fill you all in. Been playing on/off for a a few years due to my dads persuasion having being heavily involved with the sport when he was younger.
Im now playing more and more and with my father's help looking at progressing my game.
I have been using my dads cue over the years, but due to a few defects in it I am looking at buying something similar.
His is a Joe Davis Champion 147 with many years use. It is so used that it is actually flattened down on one edge and it is also bent, which he claims it has been since he bought it when he was about 14. This being said i still really like the cue, but he wont part ways with it quite yet.

I am looking for something similar. However I am looking for a tip in the 9.4 to 9.8 region, and a weight between 17oz and 17.6.
One major factor is that i want it to be a one piece cue.

Budget wise i'm looking at circa £150-£200.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Tom

I would have a few to fit the bill but every single cue is different mate I can't promise it will feel the same. adr147@hotmail.com
