A few of us have bought these and for the money they're really decent cues.

What does everyone think about this mini butt, it's the same wood as the middle splice? Or shall I hold out for the Burwood that the main butt is made of, but will take a couple of weeks to arrive in stock?

then either send one back to Stu or keep both?
don't worry, none of us on TSF tell the partners about their snooker-related-habits! :wink:Up the TSF! :snooker:

I see from reading some older posts that I'm not alone in the secret snooker spending society, or the SSSS from now on lolGBL C8 1pc | 58" 18oz 9.5mm 29.9mm BP=17" | Ash Shaft + Burrwood, Lacewood, Ebony Splices | Buffalo Diamond Plus Tip

as you can see from my avatar I have one mini butt that is solid light gold wood (masur karelian birch), I also have another which matches the splicing on the butt of the cue (maser Karelian birch veneer on ebony veneer on white veneer on ebony body, easier to show it
http://www.thesnookerforum.co.uk/boa...455#post646455 ).
I like this one but a solid one to match the front splicing on the cue would be smart as well.
As with many things with snooker, personal preference is paramount.Up the TSF! :snooker:

Thanks Dean,
What a stunning cue and mini butt you've got, really nice, and very similar specs to the one I've just ordered
The butt to match the middle splices does look good, and it'll certainly be unique, though I really do love the look of the main burwood butt? mmmm decisions decisions lolGBL C8 1pc | 58" 18oz 9.5mm 29.9mm BP=17" | Ash Shaft + Burrwood, Lacewood, Ebony Splices | Buffalo Diamond Plus Tip
