New Badge for Striker Made Out of Bone

I didn't like the original badge because the graphic had worn off and the graphic was never very impressive anyway. When I carefully removed it the plastic split slightly so I decided to make a new one and came across 35mm bone blanks from an Ebay seller which are an excellent alternative to ivory and a definite improvement on the plastic. The No3x1/2" screws also came from Ebay although I wish I could have used No2x3/8" but they didn't arrive in time.

The engraving guy experimented to check if the bone would machine without chipping and this proved to be an excellent material. He filled the lettering with black wax and I fitted the badge. Check out the result! Total cost only a few quid and an hour and a half of my time!
