Post a snooker cue

Has anyone ever posted a snooker cue before? If they have can you tell me how you did it please? (how to package it)

Its a 3/4 length snooker cue.

40mm plumbing waste pipe
no need for wood, and cardboard tubes have been easily broken.
with a 3/4 I have the butt in a short tube taped to the side of the shaft piece, no worries about the post office refusing on base of being too long.
the cue itself can be wrapped in light bubblewrap or newspaper; or I have long narrow plastic tubing/bag
