That said, some cues are just less responsive even after you've adjusted and got your timing back etc - take the tip off you old cue and refit it if you can, then you can rule that out.
Unless you're there when they're retapering the cue and trying it each time they take it off, it's equally as likely you'll end up with a whippy unsellable cues as one which feels like your old one.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
