I've got a spare bottle I think, shame they've disappeared again I really liked the cue oil and have run out now.

I might be misreading what you mean? I do a lot of cues up for people that I come across and refinish them. I also buy old cues that look good for the scrap heap and try and bring them back to life; so, I get through a bit of it when the cue looks a bit bland and could do with the grain bringing out again.

I don't do it as a business as I enjoy doing it when time permits and it's quite therapeutic.

Normally just charge materials................it doesn't fall out easily and oil afterwards.

Haven't got the foggiest. I'd like to have a rough idea as I'd have a go myself!

I'm gonna go down the luthier (guitar makers) route to see what these guys do I think as there are lots of similarities in how they finish guitars to snooker cues.

I don't need to get a tune out of it so should be ok.
