What do you like so much about your new 1 piece cue thats better than the jointed cues you've had in the past?

The tight very straight grain, the very long splices, and the feel.

Actually by feel I mean the finish, I have never known a shaft be so smooth, I may have been a bit crude in describing it but I genuinely meant it.

I suppose at the end of the day theres but one way to determin if a one piece differs in feel to a 3/4 or a 2 piece for that matter and that's to get a number of guys play a few shots with each blindfold. My money would be on the results being inconclusive.

btw Sunny, take most of what i say with a pinch of salt. I'm an argumentative barsteward by nature.

do you not think that if it made a difference the likes of trevor white and myself would say so? whatever the physics may say as far as cycles are concerned, i am 100% sure that as a playing cue you can't tell the difference between a jointed cue and a one piece if the joint is of good quality and well fitted.

Oh yeah like I said before I'm sure that a joint should not make a difference that someone like me could spot.
I still say that there is a something about a 1 piece cue that is better. It might all be in my head.
There is also the fact that a 1 piece is probably more in danger of warping and more difficult to carry around. I still got myself a 1 piece!
I starting to miss my cue; Trevor has had it to do a couple of things to it and I'm pining for it now.

maybe i should ring trevor and ask him to put a couple of joints in it?

I just got my 3/4 peradon king 2 days back and I made a 69 clearance in the very first frame with it.I guess I have got over the mental block of the 1 piece feel factor.Sorry Wity it was my fault bro!

                  A couple of joints Jesus!
I better text him before it's too late!
I'm hoping the cue is already winging it's way back to me.

i thought 4 joints would give you move flexability in tighter rooms?
plus you can break it down and carry it in your back pocket!

I played with a one piece cue from a rack today and I have never played any better in my entire leife. Everything I went for went in the middle of the pocket. This resulted in an 85 (would have been a 91 but I went in off after potting a tough pink with the rest), a 61 and a 55. I struggle a lot with long straight pots but they just kept dropping. I really want to buy one now but alas they don't sell any at Billiards Boutique unless I design my own.

I did actually consider asking the club if I could buy it from them.

it was not the cue - it was the bucket pockets!

Oh and the fact it was on a computer game as well. The virtual reality snooker games are that good you think you have done it for real!
