    Picked up a couple of more Burwat's as mine was feeling lonely
    Just how dark can a shaft get ehh ???

    That's not natural is it?, far too dark if it isn't

      A love the Cue but a would love it beter as a light shaft

          I assume very smoky clubs have done it ??
          Both ferrules were rusty as hell, couldn't leave them like that

            I rather like the dark shafts. Gives that aged look.
            The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

              Sorry if this is a daft question but is that basically a very very dirty cue, or has the actual wood changed colour.

                Cue is clean, just age/smoke/oiling has changed it

                    How dark can a shaft get ?

                    my old John Roberts London cue is like that. besides a new tw cue it's really dark.

                      There's an old rack billiard cue in my club, easily been in there over 100 years. It's so dark you can barely see the grain in the ash!

                          Love the dark ash. Then again always play with old cues so used to it. But agree cue changes colour being in smokey clubs.
                          Bit of history attached to them which is great.
