        It depends on many factors. It's wood, you have to judge each piece on its own merits.


        Lots of older cues make terrible players due to being so whippy and pretty useless for snooker. But you can only judge each cue as it comes.

                Older cues were all made before the invention of the kiln, therefore they were all air dried angel ash, and none of these brass hammer joints in them. That's why Ronnie uses one.

                      Ok, So I tried this cue out for the first time this morning, its really well balanced and feels very solid.
                      After getting back into the game a few weeks ago, I said to myself I will play with the cue I have, so
                      I can get a feel for the game again. Well I think we all know that was never going to happen, I have
                      started to settle back into my stance, bridge and feathering again, but this cue should allow that to
                      happen a lot quicker. I am impressed with the cue and it feels right, So thanks to Tony Glover for
                      making it in the first place, and thanks to Karl for selling me this cue...

                      Now just got to get the extensions.........lol
