Is Raymond doing many black plates and
Are they numbered ones

He's up to 110 or so by the most recent pics online.. they are all numbered. the non numbered ones are his older and earlier cues. that's quite a lot considering hunt and osborne only made around 150 black plates.

It's never to do with how it plays. all cue makers say their cues play great regardless of the badge colour or design.

don't think it is anywhere near that - the numbers are not in order!

And are they numbered and if a cue maker has to pay more for better ash then can't
They do it and sell every cue as a black plate or a
Ultamite as parris say and ask customers if it's what they want

it is just the look of the shaft in the opinion of the maker.

how much a green or black Exquistie could be in UK? I found an agent in Macau selling green plate from GBP750, black plate GBP1500-2000. Do you think these cues are overpriced?
