  • Snooker cue neeed. Thanks in advance.

    Hi guys.
I used to play snooker quite a bit years ago, so I've decided to take it up again.
I'm after a cue but ive only got up to £150.
I know it's not a lot but that's all I can afford at this time.
Specs I'm not to sure of really. Possibly a 3/4 as I believe a 1 piece is harder to transport. But if the price was right for a 1 piece then maybe.
I'm from Wiltshire just to give you an idea of where I could possibly go look at some.
I have been offered to look at some Oscar Freddie cues which are sold from the 147 club in Swindon.
    Any suggestions are welcomed.
    Thanks guys.

I have a beautifully handmade MAC cue available at £150 shipped. Classic one piece ash and ebony. Awesome quality for machine spliced money.

        Hi there.
        Thanks for the reply.
I've looked at the Mastercraft cues on your Ebay page but they are around £40 more expensive than the site I've linked below. The other site also includes the mini butt.
I'll have another browse on your page and see.
        I now have a budget of around £230 - £250.

you might find if you try and buy one you can't because the trade prices are higher than that! but as I said email me

Have you seen the adr professional cues on eBay sold by ADR147, they are only 125. I have an adr professional cue and would say they are awesome, probably better than mastercraft. Email adr and he will sort you a decent cue for your budget. Good luck
I went into a chemist and asked for a deodorant, the assistant said "ball, stick or aerosol", "No, I want it for under my arms!" was my reply.

Can't really understand how that Maximum Break website can offer Mastercraft Cues at that price. Mastercraft Cues have risen steadily in price over the years. I bought an Eclipse about 5 years ago for £130 and I see now the price is £215. Still good value tho for a handmade cue AND you get to choose your exact spec.
