John Spencer used a 15 oz cue, three time world champion, learned the game with the old heavier crystalate balls in the 50's and 60's.
So how come you didn't know that despite the many reasons to the contrary ? Half a snooker brain, yeah right.

BTW said cue has been sold locally to someone who likes it, so not a waste of my time and many lessons learned.

As I said, half a century ago, when players didn't make maxi upon maxi. Neither with 15oz cues or SC balls. They do now. The proof is in the pudding.
