After the horse has bolted yes, and I knew I'd be down by the river, but it had the garage/workshop I wanted at a rent I could afford. Now I know I need to defend it better than the scaffold plank and four bags of building sand the previous occupant left behind

Re the bike that's a bummer, need to take airbox apart maybe to dry it out including filter, also exhaust may be full of water if upswept, loads of wd40 might be a start on electrics. When I drowned a bike in a river doing trials we would just flip bike upside down and let it drain out used to work after taking spark plug and airfilter out.
Will be a bit heavy tho your X4 to do that. Good luck tho

Blimey. Sorry to see that mate.
Looking at the picture, the river isn't finished yet with the weather warnings. hope that's the last problem you get.

Well the workshop/garage got flooded on sunday morning, lost everything that was below three feet, all my sandpaper, wire wool, all my hardwood veneers, glue, finishing products all floated away, a lot of my tools are now covered in mud and need to be cleaned; Motorbikes were flooded as well, X4 won't start through water damage, little 125 Herald started though will need to be looked at, luckily the Vmax was being restored by a local shop.
All my main timber is above four feet on shelves so escaped, part finished cues and shafts are in my flat above the workshop; just had a great night out at a Think Floyd gig in the town (highly recomended BTW) and was buzzing and woke up to this

I remember the first cue you made, was it with babunga ?
I thought you'd be banging um out by now, on the back burner for a few years?
Look forward to seeing your work and how you've progressed with it... should easily be on par with parris by now...

Do you seriously believe that I would put my future reputation in the hands of someone who thinks 9 ball is just as hard as snooker and any failure to find a five inch wide pocket from three feet away with a cue I'd made to be solely down to me and my lack of understanding of how difficult 9 ball is and the specialist characteristics required of a 9 ball cue.
I'd be better off making a cue eight feet long and sending it to Earl Srickland
