That said, if and when i get round to manufacturing an exact replica of my E8B break cue, I'll make a fortune.

Though I wouldn't mind using my Phoenix for something as it's gathering dust. It's really powerful on a snooker table, spin is insane. I wonder what tip Marting put on it though?

25 euros a pop, and we thought Kamui were expensive!
Still tempted to put a hard lammy tip on me Phoenix as an alternative. Wonder if O'min do a really hard tip?Last edited by Big Splash!; 17 September 2016, 09:30 PM.

The O'min red tip is pretty hard from what I remember. It played ok for short time for snooker but just gave no feel once it went rock hard so tried something else.Last edited by markz; 17 September 2016, 09:36 PM.

These look interesting, cotton phenolic. He makes em to size (no sanding hopefully) and a decent price as well. I could mount one on the Phoenix 'V2' and launch the balls through the pub window. lol

Also Tyrone uses 10mm stainless steal ferrule.
What do you think about stainless ferrules bud? It's a pretty stiff metal, a little less dense than brass. Does it throw less and sound crisper? Anyone? I think Terry D. went through this years ago but I've forgotten his conclusions.Last edited by Big Splash!; 17 September 2016, 09:50 PM.

Used to be in a pool team and one team mate was renowned for sending the cue ball off the table that we all used to cover our pints :biggrin:Last edited by DeanH; 17 September 2016, 09:50 PM.Up the TSF! :snooker:

@Markz. I may buy one of the ebay jobbies and do a review. Could be interesting.
