Heres a pic - not even finished properly and i reckon its already taken me over 2 hours for one small splice! (for example mixing the glue took me ages to get it right!) God knows how long it will take me to do an actual cue!
Nice picture, pretty sharp image that, what camera you using???
(btw, thanks for you help/advice trevor - much appreciated. And Andrew as well!)

Not a lot to tell at the moment! Thats a mini butt to a cheap ebay cue i bought. I decided to try and practice splicing, starting with the mini-butt.
I plan to build my own cue, but im a bit short on both equipment and experience, but if you dont try you dont learn. I will get there, im stubborn like that.
hi,the first cue i ever bought was a riley,it cost me 4pounds off a fellow in a club.it came up to my chin,so i thought ,that must be the best length.i ended up playing great snooker with it over a period of weeks, only to find that the next time i went to the club,my cue was loaned out to a member! suffice to say,i never saw that cue again. i take my cap off to anyone who can make their own cue!keep up the good work.
