Most people i know want the shaft to go golden lol, i hate the white shaft when cues are new

I did when I was a kid as the old man had it in a lemonade bottle in the shed, made a change from sticking round objects in my ears but certainly wasn't child friendly, not to be recommended.

Most supermarket will sell them they are great to clean all crap of your cue I just went out to my local timber shop and bought tung oil
