    i take the comment about shoving my cue/s where the sun don't shine in good humour. at least you appear to have a sense of humour, unlike the majority of cry babies on here who don't.

    price is subjective and nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head. if you don't like a product or price, you go elsewhere.

          That was a good answer from Mike. I was thinking about getting a blackspin ferrule fitted for a Christmas present to myself, but I must admit the FAQ bit on his website led me to think he might be a bit prickly to deal with. I might still, but it's that or a new mattress, and I think a good night's sleep might help my game just as much.

                Gotta admit I loved Mike' answer
                In his defense, he was always very quick to answer to my emails even though I am not the owner of one of his cues (will probably be one day though :P). Always accurate, straight to the point, no nonsense. This is how he is, showing some character and I find it great.
                I'm doing tech support in a printing company so I deal with customers all the time, with all their complaints, and boy, this can gets under your skin sometimes. So I can understand the way he deals with customers, offering advices but not making any compromise because down teh road, you will always find someone whinning for nothing. He's doing it his way and this is what makes him unique in my opinion

                        Mike is someone who prefers to give you a slap in your face , instead of stabbing you a knife in the back.
                        Unfortunately, that gets misunderstanding by sum and considerd as a bad attitude. Imo.

                                I am as OCD as it gets. I don't pester people, but my version of what constitutes correct is way ahead of most. Mike has always dealt with me promptly and politely via email and is great at sharing information and experience. When I had a problem, which most folks wouldn't even register as a problem, Mike dealt with it efficiently and in good grace until I was happy. I would not hesitate to do business with him again.
