The cue just gets sent to you one day in the post. My cue was a thicker taper than I was used to, so I sent it back and Trevor made the amendments no problem. Cues are subjective but in my opinion he makes a very good cue indeed.
I'm not knocking Trevor or anything of the kind but I don't think being a one man band excuses having weak communication. Whilst understanding his workload increases, I believe customers have a right to feel upset to feel as though they have been left in the dark.
I understand that cue makers may find that updating customers etc is time consuming but I also think this comes part of the territory. Consumers pay good money and want some form of heads up and I don't think that is unreasonable.
I also believe that if a cuemaker quotes a certain amount to of time, there should be some reasonable tolerances with regards to going over that estimation.
However I think the case seems that the approximations that have been provided vs the time elapsed has gone so far over, that it has been deemed unacceptable. And I think the consumer has a right to feel this way. I think the consumer has an even stronger case when that particularly cue maker has left them in the dark and essentially vanished (though we know he is still making the cues). I think when it gets to this point, it becomes a matter of customer service and not necessarily the quality of the product and for it to have gotten this out of hand cannot be blamed on the consumer.
I believe orders should not have been accepted to the point it has gotten this way or at the very least, there should be an additional person helping Trevor with this. Maybe not in a cuemaker regards but at least in admin. I don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but the lack of communication indicates that this problem is not getting resolved.
I would love to gone to Trevor to have him make me another cue but I don't feel in a position where I can do so. I don't mind being told to wait 12 months or 24 months, but if that time has elapsed beyond what I deem reasonable, i do not want to feel as though I'm chasing around for a product which should have been complete and be left in the dark.
This is all it comes down to and I hope you can understand the frustration this brings to those who have given their money to not just Trevor but anyone who has experienced this with any cuemaker

To be fair i can understand the frustration with guys the communication is so poor.i sent about half dozen emails to change the spec of my cue and design i had to check 4 times to see if he had received them he never got back then one day sent me an email with the finished product exactly what i asked for but i was unsure whatto expect as i never heard anything.however what i will say is i orderd my cue in march 2015 and the cue was ready at end of october 2015 so only realy 9 months i waited.i may have been lucky who knows but i did not wait that long
