I saw his facebook page yesterday as I'd not heard of him before. Couldn't see any info on prices but you can see the cues he's made and the comments are all quite positive.
I saw the cue on Ebay you mentioned, quite expensive for a rather unknown cue maker. I often wonder whether these people are looking to make a quick profit or whether this is another in a long line of over rated cue makers who make nice looking cues but don't perform so great. I'm always wary when its mostly pool players who are talking these cues up, I only think a good snooker player can really pass judgement. You really don't need an expensive cue to play pool

Its all subjective though, but I do notice that its mostly pool players who seem to be buying custom cues and spending a lot of money. When snooker players talk up a cue maker, then you know they are producing quality!

There's another thread on this topic and you have actually commented on it stevie1. I have seen a few of lees cues as he lives only 1 mile from me he makes top quality cues. I got a quote of him a few weeks ago for a plain ebony and ash cue the price was very reasonable and he told me it would be 5/6 months wait as he's not made the transition to making them full time so at least he's honest and upfront.

I ordered 2 cues from Lee July last year, one for my cousin and one for myself. I received both cues on November a month earlier than I expected, reasonable prices and waiting time. Although I'm not a good player, I'm not sure whether my words are accurate enough, but both cues play really good, nice hitting feel, fantastic feel when playing long pot, effortless to play screw shot. I even feel my Lee's cue play better than my EX black plate. Anyway, these only my personal opinion about Lee's cue.
