How much has ton quoted you for series 2 mate, i was quoted 7000 baht for 1 piece plain ebony and 3000 delivery which works out about £230 before customs

I am getting it delivered to a different country so the delivery fee is 4500 thb, 7500 for a 3/4 jointed plain ebony

For what it's worth, I have a TP series 1 and when I bought it, it was in competiton (so to speak) with a Beyond as well, a superb cue. But when Stu tested them for me, including some Maximus as well, it ended up that the Series 1, which is supposed to be the entry level, was a better player than the Beyond, which was 200 grands more expensive.
So the range is only theoretical and you could end up with a tremendous player even though you stepped down in the range.

Anyway, you'll get a great cue, don't worry : )
