I am a maple lover as well Ramon, but I couldn't find one that played like ash, only tried three but they felt a bit dead, there is an old lad who has some non badged old maple cue in the club, it has a cracking hit to it, too short for me but a lovely cue none the less , since I can't find one I'm playing with the ash cue Jason made, so much life and feel to it, but I also keep an eye out when he's making maple cues and ask him the same question, how does that one play Jason? Lol, one day who knows he will tell me it's what I'm after, fingers crossed.
Oh I forgot about a Parris maple cue I bought to sell on, that was a great cue, wish I had kept it but I didn't know then what I know now , thought all cues were roughly the same lol.

Yeah, I know where you coming from.
the trouble with maple is, good quality maple is hard to come by.
But if you can find a piece of decent maple, it's a great enjoy play with it, imo.
En that could be a club cue of 15 mark . just like mine !!
However, some players may never get used to it . matter of personal preference.
A piece of good quality ash is a much better player compared to a piece of poor quality maple, that's for sure .

I can make you a cue for the price your looking for.
Have a look at my Ninja cues on Facebook and you can see some of the cues I'm making.
Have a new maple one that's almost finished at the mo.
I prefer maple myself and my cue is just that..
Have a look and see what you think.
                    Regards Colin
For that one you've always wanted...
