the reason for the badge to be higher up than normal is he had a bit chopped off the tip end and the ferrule replaced then had a piece of ebony added to the bottom to make the length up again. in has last few years when hustling round the pubs of manchester he would use any cue he could get his hands on, and 90% of the time give it away if he lost to the winnerComment

White's Hunt & O'Byrne cue was sold years ago to a collector in China, the one he has been using since 1999 is a Parris ultimate. Its a bit of a weird looking cue as the butt was initially round but a piece was added to it with a flat. And as you can see the badge is oriented differently.

What pool cue did Alex Higgins use?
it still means that the JP cue he is using has been altered a few times as the cue he is using has a badge higher up the butt than usual
