  • John Parris Classic Cue?!

Just interested on opinions on this cue its a bottom of the JP range but still a over £300 quid cue. Is it a good one or over priced? My mate has a old battered one but plays very well. But i couldnt help thinking is there a lot better out there for the money or maybe i am wrong.

If I wasn't making my own, I would spend my money else were as i would get more for my money...
People will say you get a good resale on a JP cues, which you do but i want to buy one to play with it, not sell it on...
Each to there own I guess..
For that one you've always wanted...

Bottom of the range, aka the entry level cue in terms of price. That dubious honour used to belong to the master cue with the machine spliced butt.

Does it mean it's in the bottom of John Parrots oven? Seems like a reasonable guess....

I thought he may have been seperate get quality by price so i wasn't sure.

In terms of range i consider the classic the same as his most expensive in his 'collection' cues that's all. But didn't want to speculate without asking

Yup, hawkins got olivewood added to his and Robertson had some guy in australia do some work to his then parris added some other splices a year or 2 back. All you're paying extra for in the rest of the range is extra splices and veneers.

Don't consider JP classic as BOTTOM RANGE cue...even if it's least expensice than too these are fantastic and for Resale value You cant compare any other Brand with JP

I Can't agree with you in this Because there is Hell difference in Quality of shaft in respect of APpearance and Playability between JPU or higher range cues and Classic cue

Not always - I had a few ambassador, classics, traditional, champion, and other JP bottom - mid range cues better in terms of both playability and shaft aesthetic than a few ultimate's I have had or seen - so I actually think you are absolutely and completely, almost totally and unequivocally incorrect and in every capacity shape and form - just plain wrong basically.
