      Buy Will Hunt's "original" Hunt & O'Byrne 1 piece.

      http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hunt-OByrn...QAAOSw5UZY93Lq

I say "original" as i'm not entirely convinced it is original, he already sells a range of cues with darkened shafts, nothing to say he just got a badge knocked together and slapped it on one of his other cues. Also seems to have a fairly similar spec to the current range he flogs which he is now claiming he makes with another guy.

Also his decription of it includes this:

Black Plate Hunt & O’Byrne Snooker Cues were totally handmade by Will Hunt and Dave O’Byrne out of the finest woods and materials around and their cues are cemented in history as the best
I thought O'Byrne was just the business side and had nothing to do with making cues?

Word will get around and its more than likely it'll go to asia, those cues generally do. Ironically i'm of the opinion its very possible thats where it originated from.

Well he used to make cues, then stopped. Then claimed he was making cues again, it was sussed out he was only part making them, he admitted to that on his site. Later on that admission disappeared and he now claims he and other guy are making them again. I think the "truth" is whatever he wants it to be. Which is why i think just taking his word for it is dodgy at best.

He was. O'byrne was the business side and left before they'd even been together for 12 month's. Will had already had a load of badges made so kept the name as it was.

True but his quote specifically says that the black plates were made by them both, which is an odd thing to say when a lot of people know 1 was a cuemaker the other a business guy.

Thai-gate is a pretty big deal admittedly but where does all the rest of the Will Hunt 'shadyness' come from? Never met the guy but only ever heard bad things about him!

So is the irony that the original cue maker Will Hunt is selling a fake cue from himself?
