JOhn Higgins' cues

I know JH now plays with an Exquisite and used to play with a Kev Muncaster North West... but did JH ever play with a Trevor White??

He did yes, had it modified a couple of times then moved onto an exquisite cue.

He had about 3 of them . A guy I know uses one of them now .

yes he did - it had 4 splices of cocabola and was maybe the best looking cue I have ever seen and then he had trevor plane the splices off in order to make it a bit thicker!

Its the same exquisite cue, though he had cocobolo added to it and a new badge.

After various mods it did

TW did admit he originally got the spec wrong and corrected it

Yup, they got planed off then new ones got added because of the cue being a bit long and he wanted the tip bigger.

I thought TW's cue he made for Higgins was Red Amboyna Burr , the same i have in my TW cue .


Matthew Stevens cue is a Hunt & O'Bryne that was damaged at the butt , and then fixed by Robert Osborne . No idea what the badge is in the cue though .

I thought the TW for JH was a 1pc? Also tthat cue ( pictured ), is a 3pc.. and totally round butt? Trevor does make some CRACKING cues doesn't he? It's no wonder he has a long waiting list!
