Cue sizing

Hi everyone,

I'm based in Wolverhampton and am currently in the market for a new cue. I'd like to know of any decent places in the midlands i could visit to have a play with different size and different weight cues as I've never had any advise of what might be best for myself?

Depends on your height, 57-58 inches are the standard sizes for cues. Weight wise some recommend 17-19oz some go a bit higher and recommend 17-20oz. For club tables 18-18.5oz is generally pretty good i find But its all personal preference.

Yeh i think you're right. I just need to find a place to go for someone to get me started to begin with and test out different sizes, etc

Greenbaize has the facility to do that though not sure where they are in relation to you.
