1 piece cues got a rattle

I have a niche 1piece cue and I've noticed a rattle, not so much when on the shot but noticeable when I shake it.
It sounds like a small splinter of wood or piece of dried glue or similar near where I expect it would be weighted.
Is it an easy fix or should I just ignore it if it's not getting worse?

May be a loose weight?
Don't how you'd fix it as I don't have the required skill or knowledge.
Perhaps J6 or someone else can share their expertise...

Sounds too small to be a weight, more like a grain of rice type size.

Probably a small piece of hard glue that is holding the weight in has broken off and is rattling about the space the weight is in.

check a snake hasnt curled itself up in the butt joint.

It can be glue from the weight or in the joint that has come loose and rattling around...
As it doesn't have a joint, I would say it's the weight or I've had part of a weight come loose before.
Would have to take it out and reglue or replace as it can be easier to drill it out, if it's lead..

I glue mine in and try to make sure the weight is on the bottom of the hole drilled for it...
Small gap can give you this problem over time...also making sure the wooden dowel you put in it tight against the other side.
Not much more you can do..
Wood has a way of moving over time and there is only some much you can do about that!

Hydrolic lock is a major culprit always file a flat on your weight to allow glue and air to escape

Yes that helps and also if using epoxy resin, warm it a little and it's much easier to use but be careful... If you get it to hot, the fast one goes off real quick..
Almost made that mistake on a repair...

Use it put a groove in wooden dowels when fitting them in furniture.

Im still convinced he is actually using a snake not a cue.
