    Agree with ninja and vmax, it's also a consumable world now so much things are cheaper to replace than repair even though they're not normally made to anywhere near the quality of old items. Very little modern furniture will be worth restoring as vast majority of it is chipboard crap. I would also enjoy to watch someone make cues from scratch and learn the process but doubt I would have the skills myself to make anything to a reasonable standard.

            Cue making course??

            Barry Broadbent, ebbro cues in Blackburn Lancashire does cue making courses, gradation a wpbsa coach too. Google ebbro cues.....!
