would resplice adding a few inches to the bottom and cut a bit off the top. so as to make it something like 57.75/9.25/29.5/17-17.5bp/17oz

yeah lovely shaft. and end of the boat its dead side grans up to the ferrule. light white and hits just right

for me it depends on the ash but yeah similar ebony use and natural finish.. and i dont turn my shafts/cues on a lathe or chuck.
